“I’ve been meaning to send you a message to let you know—it worked! I was flooded with relief and gratitude and wanted to email you right away, but when I arrived I wasn’t yet set up with a computer and we had some missionary travelling to do here in Ireland. We just settled in at our home convent last night.
Delta Airlines has a policy that any musical instrument under 150 linear inches can fly as baggage; if it is under 50 lbs., it flies for only the regular baggage fee, no extra charge. The workers at the baggage counter were in disbelief when they saw it, but after they got their manager, and she got her manager,and they all checked Delta policy, they put it on board. I was nervous because I (and the harp) had to transfer flights, but the harp did not break. The people here at our church in Ireland really love hearing it! Thank you for your patience with me and for your excellent work. I’m keeping the box in case I am reassigned to the USA a few years from now.
I tried to leave a rave review (you deserve one), but our gmail is in the name of the church and I couldn’t post using the name of the church. I will offer extra prayers for the business, instead!”
